Thanks,
Have you been able to contact your old NT work mates about a possible
workaround? What I will do until I can convince support to change this,
is forward questions to my Netscape e-mail account and respond to them
from there. I am also going to send a test e-mail to my home Outlook
mail account and see if the disclaimer shows up in HTML. I know when
I view e-mail I send home on my Sun workstation in Netscape it looks
fine, but then Netscape knows what to do with HTML!
Will look for other workarounds as well.
Again thanks for letting me know about this.
Dennis L. Lund

NNOOOO!!!!! i wasn't yelling at you. *sigh* i hope i didn't put you out
at
all, i sent you private mail since i have a little more respect for you than
to do something like this.
my statement was aimed at the fellow with a 5 line email that was broken
into
20-30 lines by sporadic =20 chars then followed by 4000 lines of HTML.
i'm suprised he hasn't been harrased by absolutely everybody since he
started
using that mail he's got. that's the most obnoxious one i've seen.
would you rather post from work or from home? if you'd rather post from
work
then let me try and whip up an HTML filter for you guys unlucky enough to
have
an HTML work suplied disclaimer. also, if i were you, i'd complain.
explain
to them that 4-6 lines of 80 col wide ASCII text does the job just fine and
doesn't completely piss everyone off.
cheers,
-brian
