Beg to differ. A core file is an on-disk image of the memory data =
structures
in use by a program when it crashed. It can be very useful in =
determining
why a program crashed through the use of debugging tools
(adb, gdb etc). Typos and script errors by themselves will rarely end =
up in
a core file.

     A core file is nothing but junks. Any typo or commands and script =
error

goes to core file. In some cases, it can be sent to software lab for=20
analysis, usually i delete mine.
     In a very sensitive enviroment, you may want to look at it for=20
analysis.
