[SunHELP] multiporting A1000 on 2 systems

Question: I know that you can have 1 A1000 hooked up to 2 machines, say 2
420s in this case. I know Sun won't support this, and that you have to set
the scsi-iniator-id on one of the hosts etc.

What I was wondering was if anyone has any experience using ODS to manage
this. I've used VxVM in the past and all is fine. VM prevents admins from
importing luns to different hosts by writing to the private region what
dgs(luns) are on which box etc. Anyone know if something similiar can
be accomplished using metaset? I do not have the option of VM in this
case and would prefer some kind of volume management instead of relying
on admins to mount things correctly.
