This is to hold the metadbs, the databases that keep track of what 
slices/mirrors there are and other assorted information. I believe I set 
mine to 20meg, but 10 would probably do. This is disk suite I am talking 
about; I have not used Veritas.

I am sorry, but that book sucks big time rock. I attempted to do the 
mirroring using the book, but since my setup did not match the book's 
examples and they explained ABSOLUTELY nothing about the concepts behind 
it, I ended up having to go to Sun Service for help. Now, I can do that 
stuff in my sleep and my company is out $40 for that crappy book.
