Hi Jarret,

Sorry to bother you but Can you point me to some clues as to how to install
the latest OPENSSH from the sunfreeware site.

I downloaded the file
<ftp://ftp.sunfreeware.com/pub/freeware/sparc/8/openssh-2.5.2p2-sol8-sparc-l
ocal.gz>

and tried to install it using pkgadd openssh-2.5.2p2-sol8-sparc-local
SMCossh

I then ran the key gen statements

ssh-keygen -f /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key -C HOSTNAME -q -N ''
ssh-keygen -f /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key_dsa_key -C HOSTNAME -q -N '' -d

What am I doing wrong? The equivelent above command work for the previous
2.3.1
openssh package that I inherited.

Do I need the openssl packages install first? for these new 2.5.2p2 version?
Can you please tell me teh steps you took to install Openssh.

Thanks

Tze Weng Foong
