Hi;

There are 3 kinds of System Boards.

501-2996  (supports CPUs with 2MB Cache (250/300MHz))
501-5672  (supports CPUs with 4MB Cache (250/300/400MHz))
501-5673  (supports CPUs with 8MB Cache (400/480MHz))

May be the cpu is not compatible with sys board.
