[SunHELP] late collisions ??

I've not seen this for a while but as I recall having more than two
repeaters in series will cause late collision errors. Have whoever manages
the networking infrastructure look at their
configuration and layout. Repeaters aren't that common a feature these days
but things like media converters can have the same effect. Depending on who
makes the kit something like
UTP -> Converter -> fibre -> Converter -> UTP -> switch -> cascaded switch
will probably be enough to provoke the problem.

This is not a problem with the box, it is a network problem. Fix the
network and this will go away.
As for docs see the Stevens TCP/IP Vol I,II,II.
