There's a minor design flaw in the UltraII CPU. They used parity instead of
ECC memory in the cache. While this detects errors it can't fix them so the
system panics. The workaround is a cache scrubber routine which in effect
flushes the cache on a regular basis and causes it to be refreshed. This
reduces the frequency of errors and therefore crashes.
