Stabilty has not changed a lot from 7 to 8.

Solaris 8 has the potential to scale even futher than 7. (There is a bit of
a saying that even versions of Solaris are the best).

You get alot of nice GNU software bundled with Solaris 8 which is
convienient and there is some cool lite versions of stuff like disk suite
and sun screen.

I would go Solaris 8 IMHO.

I've been asked by my Manager ?

What's really different between Solaris 7 & Solaris 8 ?

Is it a stability matter or other ?

Which one should I buy for better result ?

Thanks

Harisun
