Your Boot cdrom may have problem. try another boot cdrom. try with boot
cdrom -s.

Hi

Iam having Sun solaris 2.5 running in E3000 machine was get crashed
(/usr file system) ..Now iam trying to reinstall the operating system.
When i issue a  'boot cdrom' command from the prom prompt...
the system is hanging . But when i issue a probe-scsi-all command
its showing the cdrom drive.

What is the problem? Can any one have solution...with prom option..
