My experiences (including several hundred machines using ufs+ logging) are
identical.  File system stability is universally improved.

Keep in mind, however, that performance is affected.  Logging to a
separate fast disk (with no other usage) using Disksuite will almost
always yield a performance improvement, while logging to the free space
pool (with Solaris 7 ufs+) may increase or decrease performance depending
on the I/O mix.  Test your application and see.

As for myself, I prefer logging to a separate solid state disk on battery
backup.  Best of all worlds (except for price).
