that is an amazingly good question.  it has pissed me off for years that sun
never shipped top (the most useful tool ever, well, almost ever) with Solaris.
Oh well.

get 3.5beta12, it handles both 32 and 64 bit OSes without any thought on your
part.

prstat is a cheap rip-off of top.  get top, ignore prstat.  top is better.
