Hi Admins,
           Sorry abt the slip....I had erroneously mentioned automountd
actually it's vold....

The msg again....


Hi Admins, 
           Was just wondering, in a situation where vold is not running  and
mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/dsk/c0t6d0s2 /cdrom fails 
with msg device not found how will I be able to find the device-id of CDROM
without booting the system. 

I know from OK prompt probe-ide or probe-scsi might help. If you all can
lend a thought on this.
