Microsoft markets it. It runs on x86 (Intel) processors. 4 managers ??? I'm
not sure what you mean here (memory, hardware?) As far as disadvantages and
advantages, there are many of both. Don't try to compare it to Solaris or
other flavors of Unix because you're not comparing like entities. One has
had 30 years of development and the other about 8 or 9. NT is still a young
pup and has a lot of growing to do. All fairly said, it's a good low cost
solution for general office productivity but I wouldn't go putting a huge
database on it quite yet.
