I am running a third party appliction on Solaris 2.6. Some of the processes
from this application are creating defunct processes. I know one way to kill
these defunct processes is to kill the parent process, but I was wondering
if there is any way of killing the defunct processes without killing the
parent.

any help will be welcome

Regards
