Hi Unix/Oracle Gurus,

We need to create couple of mount points for Oracle (/u01, /u02, ../U14.).
planning to create the DB on a UFS file system (not in a Raw device)

Question:

(1) Is there any better way of creating UFS file system using newfs
command for better I/O activity for Oracle other than which is shown
below:

	# newfs /dev/rsdk/c1t3d0s0

(2) Any pointers to Oracle 8.0.5.1 performance/tuning that can be done
on Solaris 2.6?

Apprecite your help!

Thanks,
Murali
