Let's get this straight:
One Ultra 10 with Solaris
One PC with Linux
One G3 Mac
This is what I would do:
Get a decent laser printer from Best Buy, and hook it up to the PC. Use
lpr's capability to print on another host running lpd to print from the
Sun. It might help to have the same lpr software under Solaris and Linux;
I like to use LPRng. I can find the URL for that if you have trouble
locating it.
To print from the Mac (running MacOS 8.something, I assume), put netatalk
on the Linux system.
Everything should be connected with ethernet, of course.
