Info on slot assignment is as follows:
cpu board in slot 4, memory boards in slot1, slot7, slot2,
slot6, slot3 and in slot 5. The bg3 & iack jumpers are always
"in" for the memory slots. The slot that has the 4400
cpu board installed should have both of these jumpers "out".
These jumpers are on the backplane slots wiring side.
The 4400 memory board has these part #'s 501-1333 (32mb ECC)
and 502-1721 (128mb ECC). The top two led's on
these mem. bds should be off.. red indicates uncorrectable
error. Green led (2nd from bottom) indicates ok. Be sure
that you do have a memory board jumpered for board 0.
You didn't say if you were getting any monitor display or??
You should be able to get tty data output on serial portA
if you put the normal /diag switch in 'diag' and cycle AC power
or reset the cpu bd. The cg5 color framebuffer vme card
is shown in slot9 , scsi vme cards in slot6, smd disk vme
controller cards in the end slots.. you cannot have the bg3
and iack jumpers off the backplane empty slots.. all slots
with vme controllers must have these jumpers removed.
	Have fun!
