[Sunhelp] HP88780B front load half-inch tape drives.. scsi interface

I need  troubleshooting information for this  HP tape drive..  these
were  used in Sun serves
back  around 1993-94.  I have  a need to get an  800/1600 bpi  unit
working  but it
looses  tension on tapes when  rewinding.. causing a misload error on
the front panel.
If anyone has a copy of the selftest  procedures or can email me the
info to run the
adjustment tests , I may  be able to fix this tape drive.

Model HP(Hewlett-Packard) 88780B front load half-inch tape drive.. loses
tape tension.
