What is Solaris?

Solaris consists of the following facilities:

		1) SunOS
		2) Openwindows
		3) Openwindows deskset tools
		4) ONC networking products and services(which includes NFS
		   and NIS)

Solaris is not an operating system but a "complete" user
	environment.
