Mine's limited to 5MB/s and probably has the 8GB limit as well ( I
never tried a bigger drive than the 6GB one I'm using now so I don't
know but I think it's fairly likely ). It came with a 2GB drive from
Tadpole.
Something worth considering - there are IDE-to-CompactFlash adaptors
out there with the right connectors and shape to use in place of a
2.5" harddisk. If heat and power consumption are issues here you can't
really beat that.
