   More than likely. This is what I was getting at before. It has been 
my      experience that using a regular monitor with a sparc is a pain. 
Using a sun monitor with a pc is a piece of cake. Normally I just use 
trial and error. If the monitor works, great, if not, find another one 
to test. If you have the actual manuals for the monitors then that makes 
it all the easier. Find one that is comparable to the sun monitor and 
there you go.

well, Hook it up and see if it works :)

If you have the manual for this as well, check out the specs and see if 
they are close to the sun monitor specs.
