print from your 3gx to epson in photo quality with the excellent sw
from J.J. Sarton - with better quality than epson's own for 15 DM.

On tuesday I placed my second 3gx topo-map-printing kiosk,
this one in Halted Specialties, the electronics surplus
place in Santa Clara, CA.  The owner of the store wherein
I placed the first has requested another for his Fresno, Ca store.

The San Francisco quad is a thing of great beauty, poster quality,
esp. when printed on something glossy.  Makes USGS employee's jaws fall open!

You can print yer own thusly:
1.  get an Epson 1160.  Price on this model now $299.
2.  get the xwSolSparc sw which will print in demo mode before you pay
3.  download the image from my site:
    http://www.topowest.com/California/37122/o37122g4.200.png
    or
    http://www.topowest.com/California/37122/o37122g4.200.xwd.gz
4.  print it with the command:
    gunzip -dc o37122g4.200.xwd.gz | xw_print -dev epsC1160 -density 360 -softweave -saturation 0.9 -width 13.0i -height 19.0i >> /dev/bpp0
