Well, I got it to work.  It's a rather messy hack wich involved editing
the kernel binary and doing some evil things with bootparamd.

I've emailed Tadpole to ask them if I'm allowed to have this kernel
available to anyone who wants it.  If Tadpole allow me to do this, and
there's anyone who wants to do the same thing, let me know and I'll post
a URL for it.

Now that I've got my SPARCbook running, I'll compile a less evil kernel
for this when I've got time.
