Hi all,

This is a bit of a strange email for me, as it's the first email to a
new community for me, but also one that I appear to be trying to get out
of. Quick backstory, I enjoy older computers of all kinds, and due to
this, over the past few years, I have been donated a couple of Sun
boxes. I fully intended to play with them, and had them set up for this
purpose, but life got in the way, as it often does, and I did very
little else more than just boot them to confirm that they worked (and
not even that with some of them)

Then, my life changed. I'm losing my man-cave shortly to a new 'lodger'
which will take up even more of my non-existing free time, and I have to
relocate a lot of my stuff. I'm having to think very carefully about
what I'm keeping, and be realistic about what I can, and will play
with. I don't have any emotional connection with 90s server hardware,
so I started looking at rehoming the Sun kit. The rackmount and pizza
box stuff was relatively easy to find a loving foster home for, but I'm
still left with two Enterprise boxes, an E4000, and an E3500. Oh, and a
SPARCStorage array. At the very least, I need to find somewhere for one
of the servers. I really don't want to take it to the local tip.

There are albums from when I originally acquired the machines

A lot of the cabling and other stuff I have, if anyone is still
interested (although the other computers, like I've said, are already
gone)

I'm based in Coventry, UK, I would obviously prefer if anyone interested
would come to pick up (as the things weigh a lot!) but I can potentially
deliver within a reasonable area.

Feel free to ping me an email, or catch me on IRC (Freenode, Blitzed or
Blinkenshell as Nistur)

Hopefully we can find this pair a new loving home.

Phil
