Right, Ibve built it myself on several platforms. It gets you the Open Look
window manager or virtual window manager.

Sun also published the required fonts for olvwm, and the source for Xview
(required for olvwm). Ibve also built and installed those a few times. Xview
also gets you cmdtool/shelltool and possibly clocktool.

So far as I know therebs no source available for OLIT (Open Look Interface
Toolkit) though, and just having the Open Look window manager and Xview
isnbt the same as having the Open Look *desktop environment* as distributed
by Sun. The latter also had things like NeWS.

The Open Look project on SourceForge appears to be an attempt to maintain some
of this going forward, and to reimplement the parts that Sun never made
available. For example the b
desksetb
 CVS module has an independent
reimplementation of the Open Look file manager.
