[rescue] Does anyone know what the Comparex 7/71 was?

It's probably a console that attached to the actual Comparex 7/71 itself.... I
think the Comparex 7/71 is a German branded mainframe possibly manufactured by
Hitachi... 3.3 MIPS.

I just learned of its existence from this set of images of hardware
rescued from a nuclear power plant.

Is it a dumb terminal? Industrial control gear? Something else?
