[rescue] Solaris licensing

Oracle is trying to reap the most profits that they can from their purchase
of Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Oracle is using the same tactics and strategies that they use with the
Oracle relational database.
Oracle's customers are corporations, educational systems, government.
Oracle could care less about the hobbyist community--hobbyist don't add to
Oracle's bottom line.  A hobbyist employee won't sway a corporation to
Oracle.  Oracle doesn't need the grunts.

When Scott McNealy failed to kill Sun Microsystems, Inc., Larry Ellison
stepped in to finish the job.
