I assume that's before sales tax, in which case it would seem to be the going
price anyway, since it's routinely knocked-down to #69.99 on Amazon UK:

#69.99 includes 20% VAT, giving a base price of #58.32 or $91.30.
Alternatively, the current price of #77.99 is #64.99 ex VAT or $101.75.

This is likely a temporary price rise so they can be knocked back down to a
"bargain" #69.99 in next week's sales.

I am a tad wary of cheap Crucial SSDs after I ended up with a dodgy batch of
(IIRC) M300s. I had four 128GB units, all of which had atrocious write
performance of about 30MB/s, and two of which failed within a week. I RMAed
them and never did receive replacements, but it's not as if I was ever likely
to put them back into production anyway.

If I were in the market for another SSD, I'd be getting a Samsung drive which
has a better balance of reputation, performance and price. The 256GB 840 EVO
is currently #91.50 on Amazon UK.
