[rescue] X Server for Win7 user?

MobaXterm ...http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/

Its a single binary works well and
it auto logs into an sftp on the box you ssh into. Has an X server built as
well. It's probably Xming but its nice to have a single binary... if you pay
for the commercial version you can modify it however you want.

Hello all,

I'm going to try accessing my soon to be
configured X1 from a PC desktop, and
I was wondering what folks here use when
they need X Windows access from a
PC?

I'm looking for a free solution,
relatively stable, and reasonably
well-supported/current. I'd like to run a
desktop session, not just individual
application windows.

Thanks,

Hi

Some of those systems will take the 1gb DIMMs, cannot
remember of the X1
400Mhz will, but if you have an odd one handy, worth
trying. I know the later
V120 etc work fine with up to 4gb, it was a supported
option.

In the past, I have used Xming in a pinch.

Short answer : cygwin,
Download
setup.exe, run it, select whatever package you want, and that's it.

Look also
at rxvt.

Also, Xming.

I have and occasionally use Xming, too.

I found 3x 13w3 to BNC adapters. The
13w3 sides are female. The BNC
are JUST RGB (these were meant for SGIs with
sync-on-green.)

FFS from 46219 (I figure just $5 which should cover it.)

My personal
preference is to roll my own, but, if you really need/want stuff
that was
available on Sunfreeware.com, there are still a number of mirror sites
out
there that has their software available.

I had been hit up enough times about
Sunfreeware.com, that I ended up
downloading all the software from one of the
mirror sites just to not have to
worry about it again.

Hope this helps,
Jerry
