I have a soft spot for the first Sun system I used for work... though, I
feel old now,
given it was a Sun 3/110 :-)  and pretty new at the time.   When thru the
whole line
from there... lots of 3/X models, a 4/110, Sparcstation 1 (which was an
incredible
jump from any of the VME for speed at the time... one of the largest
perceived
deltas in performance... not necessarily the largest measurable X
multiplier)
(BTW, I have a 3/110 and 4/110 both that fire up here in my office... I'm
in the
process of coming up with replacement media for them, i.e. SCSI to
CF/SD/etc. but
am still going to mount that in a Sun shoebox [the original huge ones] to
keep the original
 look :-) ... and BTW 4 BNC to 13w3 to VGA actually works... at least with
the Viewsonic,
though seeing SunView on a LCD takes a bit mentally to process.. it feels
out of place,
like seeing someone from a looong time in your past showing up in your
current environment... )

Getting back to the original topic, I've got a Ultra 10 here.   I've got
SCSI in it now
(and SCSI drives) and a creator card (with 13w3...which I have plenty of
adapters,
etc. for)   So, what "spare parts" should I ask Lionel to bring to the VCF
so I can
take them off his hands? :-)     What other "options" were out there, and
what would
you consider for maxing it out?
