I have new CRTs in boxes in my basement (a 17" PC monitor and a 15" Sun
monitor I bought a DECADE age and never used), as well as about a
half-dozen CRTs of various makes/models that are going to Best Buy to be
recycled.

Microcenter.com has 17" refurb flat panels for under $50, 19" for under
$75, and one brand-new Vizta 19" widescreen flat panel LED display for $70
( http://www.microcenter.com/product/416374/V19LMH_19_LED_Monitor ).

To answer your original question, I have my $20 17" flat panels in NJ, but
if I had to box & ship them, the above items would be cheaper.
