Be glad you don't want a PDP-8E, -8F, or -8M.  Think I missed the boat 
on an 8 and will be sticking with my SBC6120 and/or emulation :-(.

I don't pick much retro stuff up off ebay anymore....  what I do pick 
up is off lists or craigslist (but not much shows up there).
