Oh, one more thing because I stopped reading at the location of the
earlier comments and only noticed it because someone else quoted your
silly statement below:

That's certainly your call.

Anyone can look at my ebay history and see how often I negatively rate
someone for poor packing.  It doesn't happen often.  The only times it has
happened were because the seller clearly blew off their responsibility to
pack the equipment properly for shipment.

As I said earlier, many times I don't pay for the item until the seller
and I have had a discussion about packing and shipping.  On more than
one occasion, I've told them to just take it to UPS for packing, despite
their attempts to "save" me money by filling a used cereal box with
discarded cat hair and chicken feathers and a 75 lb. computer terminal.

If you're going to blow off your responsibility to pack items properly
for shipment in such a cavalier fashion, then I'm GLAD not to do
business with you.  Seems like it hasn't cost me anything yet to be
"banned" from doing business with you and I doubt its going to cost me
anything in the future, either.
