Officially, they were all called "IRIS", although only the Personal
Iris (4D/xx) and Professional Iris (4D/xxx) series carried Iris in
their names; later (R4K and up) systems got names rather than model
numbers (although the Crimson is also referred to as 4D/510).

I draw the line at collecting machinery with the new SGI logo; it just
doesn't do it for me. Although recently, especially since SGI
basically ceased to exist, I have warmed up to the last MIPS lines; I
would seriously consider a Fuel or a Tezro (cube logo!) if I came
across one at a good price.

But for now, I'm quite happy with my collection (as well as strapped
for space to add more):

I was once very much tempted by a 4-rack Onyx2 Reality Monster, but
declined for fear of having it collapse through the floor of my
apartment.
