It's come out recently that it wasn't Kool-Aid at all, but a cheap 
knock off, Flavor Aid.

Personaly I think that was Sun's problem and what caused them to go broke.
Instead of trying to get the paying customers to subsidize the freebies to
keep the big bad X86 Linux systems under control, they should of ignored them
and focused on what they did best. 

It works for Apple, which now just happens to sell computers as accesories
to iPods, iPads and iTunes, and companies like BMW with small market shares,
but are not concerend with things like the Tata Nano.

That's basicly what Oracle plans to do, focus on paying customers and 
stop trying to give away stuff to the nonpaying ones. 

Having been both a paying (in the past) and nonpaying (recently) customer
of Sun, all I can say "so long and thanks for all the fish", although to
be honest, I'd prefer more free fish. :-)

New word I coined 12/13/09, "Sub-Wikipedia" adj, describing knowledge or
understanding, as in he has a sub-wikipedia understanding of the situation. 
i.e possessing less facts or information than can be found in the Wikipedia.
