Maybe the SCSI ID of the new boot disk is different from the setting in
the boot ROM? Once I had a similar problem. The new disk was SCSI ID 5
and the old disk was ID 6. So I had to setup the boot-path in the PROM
to fit the new SCSI ID. Or make sure that the new disk has the same ID
as the old one.
