Yeh your're right, if I was offered a Socket 478 era P4 I'd turn that 
down too. What am I saying! I never se my P4 system anymore. It's partly
a function of owning a Mac Pro I suspect ;)

I think it's a fallacy that *any* major industry is 'All American' or 
'All British' these days. Major companies outsource, it's the only way 
they can compete with all their rivals who outsource. When it boils down 
to it, any computer these days is made in China at some level :)
