Performance is OK with the IDE drives, nothing stellar.

At the very least, you can push 40Mbps via SSH, so I assume that disk
performance will be adequate for serving up files over 100Mbps
Ethernet.

You can use duct tape to hold the second drive in place if you really
want to go ghetto.

Kind of too bad, Sun seems to have abandoned the smallish SPARC server market.
