afaik summit was the unix group.  i'm pretty sure they went to [one
of] the new owners of sV.  folks like david korn remained; his bunch
has managed to free most of the cool tools they developed, including
ksh93.  iirc research.att.com is still the canonical source for them.

speaking of which, the current ksh93 pkg apparently isn't built for
osx 10.3.9 [or at least i lack the mojo to install it properly] and i
don't know the last version that was.  anyone?
