[rescue] Never thought I'd ask this

I recently asked the same question on another list when I wanted to load
a Linux on a Sony VAIO P3/600Mhz with 128M RAM.  The primary
recommendation was Xubuntu (http://www.xubuntu.org) since it uses Xfce
(small memory footprint window manager).

It works really well on this old hardware.
