It does have a fan but it is relatively quiet, about like having a PC  
running.

Really it is all about the fact I got this PowerBook and no longer  
have to be connected via Ethernet.

The ports on the back of the Linksys router are not full, so why have  
this extra bit of kit around - I'd rather have the cash.
