Neat - I'm thinking I'd want to use IDE drives in place of SCA  drives in typical applications, and the *ideal* adapter (with a trivial market size, I understand) would be to either take a 2.5" IDE drive, and put it on a sled that is identical to a 3.5" SCA drive (plug compatible) OR an adapter that attaches to a 3.5" IDE drive and turns a 1/3 height drive into a 1/2 height drive, again SCA drive plug compatible...

BUT, I'm de-emphasising my SCSI/SPARC-based systems in favor of SATA-based x86 hardware...
