I've got one.  It mostly Just Works.  The only problem I've found with
it is that it doesn't quite do vlans right; the same MAC appearing in
different vlans breaks it.  Apparently whoever designed it didn't know
that MACs are unique only to machine granularity, not interface
granularity.  (For my purposes I've worked around this.  My house
router is a SPARCstation IPX, which, like most Suns of that era, uses
the same MAC on all interfaces.  It has its onboard le0 and a qec; I
hacked the kernel to give the qec interfaces locally-administered
addresses - 02:00:02:21:71:43, 02:00:03:21:71:43, 02:00:04:21:71:43,
02:00:05:21:71:43.)

Except for the vlan-versus-MAC bug, I agree.
