The Python wasn't the wierd automated changer. That changer thing was ...
a work of art. It worked tho.

The Python was just a normal front loading DAT drive, with firmware that
could pass the audio data.

400GB and 1TB tapes around the corner. More expensive than an IDE hardrive
of equal size tho.
