Hi all!
I have a freebsd laptop with Prolific usb serial adapter db9 male,
serial converter db9 female to db 25 male jack which goes to the
serial port of the ultra 60.
What I did up to now:

1. Read http://sig9.com/node/260, sunhelp.org cable resourses and
ultra 60 docs, google.
 2. Tried to to connect to the system on ttya and ttyb - kermit says
that it cannot detect carrier detect. Tried with turning off carrier
detect signal via kermit - no success.

My preliminary conclsions are that I need some rs-232 null modem cable
as a intermedium to fix the CD collisions. According to Ultra 60
system handbook should be straight through null modem cable with DB25
males at both ends.

Can anyone give tips on connecting to ultra 60 system via usb serial adapter?
If I get null modem cable with DB25 male and db9 female to connect to
the usb serial will it work?

Thanks everyone!
Have a great week!
