Very true.  I'm a Unix admin in a decent sized Unix shop, but our
desktop architecture is all Microsoft, so I'm forced to use Outlook
on the corporate desktop (or Evolution on my Linux box, but that does
not deal well with large folders).  However, I do not subscribe to any
mailing lists on my work address, I use my personal address for that
sort of thing.  I know not everyone has their own box off at a colo
somewhere, nor should everyone feel like they should, but with the ease
of getting a personal account outside of work (hotmail/yahoo/gmail/etc),
I guess the only question is, why force yourself to use that horrible
interface more than you absolutely have to?

Unless your corporate IT policy blocks access to outside webmail, then
that just brings up a completely different discussion.

Huh, "kerfuffle" wasn't in my ispell dict, that has been fixed.

Before this thread, I did not even know we could have this much fun with
X- Headers, at least, I've never seen the results of what setting them
does to Outlook.  In my younger days, I might joined in, but I've never
been one to put bumper stickers on my car.
