Reminds me of the old AT&T Unix PC used to have a problem with a
particular cap in the monitor.  Needed to be replaced with one that
had a higher temperature rating since the heat in the monitor would
"dry out" the cap that was in there.  The "drying" process used to end
with either a bang or loss of "magic smoke". :)
