I am NetBSD developer and port-hp700 is my main work area. There is some
progress going on, but slowly. We got a working in-tree toolchain (the
old stuff was X-compiled with an external toolchain) and I did some
kernel work since then. (Converting the syntax of all assembler files
for the new toolchain, hunting misc bugs, writing / improving dirvers,
extending machine support code for [BCD] calss, ...) At the moment there
is a big show stopper: ld_elf.so is broken. An other developer is
working on this. Once this problem is solved I will build a new
snapshoot. There is a lot of stuff to do. Like pulling PCI support from
OpenBSD, pthread MD code, GDB, ...
