There was a high-end audio vendor at SF Mac World Expo
this year that had a head unit with a hard drive in it. The unit
slid out so you could load it up with the mp3s (maybe other
formats, too, can't recall) via USB (it was a 2.0 bridge
to the HD). It seemed pricey, though.

I wish I could recall the company, though; I looked at the
MacWorld Expo site (very broken), but couldn't find it.
